Martijn Gerard Garritsen (born May 14, 1996), known by the stage name Martin Garrix , is a DJ, record producer and musician from the Netherlands. In 2016 he was ranked 1st in the list of Top 100 DJs versions of DJ Mag. He founded the STMPD RCRDS label a few months after leaving Spinnin 'Records, before signing a contract with Sony Music. In 2017, he was announced as a DJ in Hï Ibiza.
2012-2014: Early careers and Animals

The Garrix was discovered by Tiësto, whom Martin Garrix describes as inspiring, humble and legendary. She started her career with the song "BFAM" (with Julian Jordan) and "Just Some Loops", a collaboration with TV Noise on the compilation album of Loop Masters Essential, Volume 2 . He signed a contract with Spinnin 'Records in 2012, releasing "Error 404" through the label.
In 2013, Garrix co-released "Torrent" with Sidney Samson through the label Tiësto Musical Freedom. he gained fame through his own solo release "Animals" release on June 16, 2013 through Dutch record label Spinnin 'Records, became a hit on several charts in Europe, and became the youngest man to reach number 1 in Beatport. The song is on Hardwell presents presents 'Revealed Volume 4' . On September 30, 2013, Garrix released a remix of "Project T" by Sander Van Doorn and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike who were quickly at number 1 on the Beatport charts.DJ Magazine ' and number 4 in 2014.
In November 2013, Garrix signed with Scooter Braun Projects courtesy of Scooter Braun (now School Boy Records). In 2014, Garrix released "Proxies" which can be uploaded for free. He released a song with MOTi titled "Virus (How About Now)" and also his collaboration with Afrojack releasing "Turn Up the Speakers" which both bring for the first time at the Ultra Music Festival.
2015-present: New label and album
On February 6, 2015, she released the song "Forbidden Voices" as a reward for getting 10 million likes on her Facebook page. In February 2015, he released the single "Do not Look Down" with Usher . He also released two versions of the video for it in Vevo , "Towel Boy" and "Towel Girl." The song is perched at No. 3 on Billboard Dance Club Songs.
She also worked with singer Ed Sheeran on a song called "Rewind Repeat It" which she played at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in March 2015. On May 4, 2015, she released a song with Tiësto , entitled "The Only Way Is Up". On May 22, 2015, Avicii released a lyric video of the song "Waiting for Love" which was co-produced by Garrix. On July 6, 2015, Garrix released EP Break Through The Silence with Russian DJ Matisse and Sadko. Then, on 31 October 2015, he released a song titled "Poison" as a promotional single.

On August 26, 2015, Garrix announced that he was out of Spinnin 'Records and MusicAllStars Management, due to the conflict of his musical ownership. He also announced he had filed a lawsuit against his former manager Eelko van Kooten. In November 2015, Garrix announced he would form his own record label.
On December 2, 2015, Garrix is reported to have reconciled with Spinnin 'Records on an ongoing issue regarding his musical possession. On December 31, 2015, Garrix released "Bouncybob", his last song of the year, in a grtist, which he co-produced with Justin Mylo and Mesto.

Garrix launched its own record label called STMPD RCRDS in 2016. On March 11, 2016, he released his first single via STMPD RCRDS titled "Now That I've Found You", with vocals from John Martin and Michel Zitron. Speaking of the label, he says that he wants this label to be a 'platform' for artists of different genres. On March 18, 2016, he spent an hour to perform ten unreleased new songs at the Ultra Music Festival, including collaborations with Jay Hardway, Julian Jordan, Ed Sheeran , Bebe Rexhaand the Third Party along with AREA21, a musical duo believed to consist of Garrix himself with Maejor. On May 27, 2016, he released the single "Lions in the Wild" with the DJ duo of the Third Party duo.
On June 13, 2016, Garrix released as a promotional single titled "Oops" which became the theme song of E3 2016. On July 26, 2016, it was announced that Garrix signed a global contract with Sony Music International. On July 29, 2016, he released the song "In the Name of Love" with Bebe Rexha.
On October 14, 2016, Garrix announced in social media that he released seven songs for seven days. Some of the seven songs have been performed at Ultra Music Festival 2016.
On October 19, 2016, Garrix was named the world's top DJ at DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJs poll and, at age 20, he became the youngest person ever to be named. The number-one trophy was presented by his mentor, and the four-time winner, Tiësto.
Garrix be the opening act of Purpose World Tour Canadian singer Justin Bieber in Australia which began in March and in the show 'Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park' on July 2, 2017. Garrix announces he became the resident DJ for the season in 2017 at HI Ibiza , formerly known as Space, a popular music-dance club owned by Ushuaïa Entertainment. He previously became a resident DJ at another HÏ Ibiza venue, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel in 2016.
